ABOUT iACT

iACT (ISA-B Automation & Control TechDay) is an annual event that is conducted by one of several student sections of ISA-B.Promoted for the first time in year 2014, by ISA-B for the benefit of student ISA members, ISA-B affiliated student sections partake in this annual event. BMSCE ISA Student section, hosted the first iACT event. This annual event facilitated by ISA-B in terms of content and oversight, is rich and diverse in content and provides a platform for engagement by students of automation and electrical sciences to showcase and learn from each other. The host educational institution together with the participating educational institutions stands to benefit by this annual iACT event sponsored by ISA-B. The primary objective of conducting ISA-B - iACT annual event is to bring all ISA-B affiliated student section members and faculty to a common platform which provides, a healthy competitive environment for participating students and engineering faculty to showcase their talent and learning in the evolving field of automation, digital, instrument, mechatronics, and electrical sciences. Rich exchange of innovative ideas and learnings is moderated and facilitated by experienced industry professionals for students to benefit from. Another major objective of ISA-B - iACT annual event, is for faculty members of Engineering Institutions to learn from their peers and emulate innovative processes that enrich their student learning programs.
